What to know before
reserving.

We believe every decision should feel considered and informed. Below are straightforward answers to the questions clients ask most often before reserving. If you do not see what you are looking for, write to us — our team will read and respond with care.

So we don't make pairs that no one ends up wearing. Each pair is cut, lasted and finished in Italy after you reserve, in batches of about five hundred. When a batch is fully reserved, we close until the next one opens.
It holds your size and color in our first production run. It's fully refundable until your pair ships. When it does ship (July 15, 2026), the remaining $420 is charged. No charge if you cancel.
First reservations ship July 15, 2026 from Italy. You'll get a shipping notification 3–5 days before, plus a couple of production photos as your pair moves through the bench.
Send it back. 30-day free returns from the day it arrives. One free re-sizing exchange per pair — return shipping covered both ways.
Yes, true to size for most US women's heels. Toe box is medium-wide and softens after the first few wears. Between sizes, size up.

In Italy, in a four-person workshop we've been working with since late 2024. The master cobbler is in his 40s and started at 15.
Yes. No animal materials — silk-and-patent uppers, cork-latex footbed, silk lining, recycled rubber sole.

Yes, any time before your pair ships. We'll refund your deposit in full. If you cancel after we've shipped, our normal 30-day return window applies.

A team of three between New York and Italy. We're keeping founder names off the site for now — we'd rather you judge the shoe than the bios.
