1. The Sylienne studio
Sylienne is a debut footwear studio working between New York and Florence. References to “we,” “us,” and “the studio” mean the legal entity operating Sylienne.
2. Reservations & the deposit
- A reservation places a non-binding hold on your size and colorway in our first production run.
- A $50 deposit is taken at the time of reservation. The deposit is fully refundable until your pair ships.
- The balance ($335 by default) is charged to your saved payment method only when your pair leaves the Florence atelier.
- Sylienne may decline or refund a reservation if the colorway or size sells out, if we suspect fraud, or if a payment method fails authorization.
3. Pricing & launch lock-in
The price you see when reserving is the price you pay (sales tax and any applicable duties are added at checkout / on ship). If the production cost rises before launch, the increase will not be passed on to existing reservations.
4. Shipping
Free standard worldwide shipping is included with every reservation. Estimated delivery windows are listed on the Shipping page. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the package delivered.
5. Returns & exchanges
Reservations cancel for any reason with a full deposit refund until the pair ships. Once shipped, our 30-day return window applies (see the Returns page). One free re-size exchange per pair.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the “Sylienne” word mark, the Signature heel design, photography, copy, and code — belongs to Sylienne. You may not reproduce, scrape, mirror, or train a model on this content without prior written permission.
7. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to compromise the site, scrape large amounts of data, abuse the reservation system, or impersonate another person. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Warranties & disclaimers
Each pair carries a one-year craftsmanship warranty. Beyond that, the site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sylienne's liability for any claim arising from a reservation is limited to the amount you paid for that reservation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, NY.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version applies from the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting reservations will be emailed to active customers.
